Hundreds of homes affected by Glasgow power cut
Hundreds of people in Glasgow's west end have been affected by an hour-long power cut.
SP Energy Networks said the blackout on Tuesday night hit customers in the G12 and G13 areas.
It tweeted that engineers were investigating a substation near Kelvinside.
A spokeswoman apologised for the inconvenience, and said on Wednesday morning that all supplies should have been restored.
She said: "The majority of customers were back on within the hour and the rest within two hours.
"The disruption was not linked to lightning strikes and was caused by a cable fault."
