Pilot accused of failing breath test before US flight
A pilot accused of failing a breath test ahead of a flight to the US has appeared in court.
Glendon Gulliver, 61, from Colorado, made no plea at Paisley Sheriff Court after being charged under the railways and transport safety act.
He was held at Glasgow Airport along with another 45-year-old pilot before boarding a flight to Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday.
Police Scotland said the 45-year-old had been released after questioning.
The incident resulted in the United Airlines flight being cancelled.
The case was committed for further examination and Mr Gulliver was released on bail.
