Woman arrested following death of Rutherglen grandmother

A woman has been arrested following the death of a South Lanarkshire grandmother who was found dead in her flat days before Christmas.

Ann Coll, 61, was found with serious injuries on Newfield Place in Rutherglen on 22 December last year. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that a 37-year-old woman had been arrested in connection with her death.

Inquiries into the murder remain ongoing.
