Man dies after being hit by campervan in Glen Coe
A man has been killed after being struck by a campervan on the A82 in Glen Coe.
The incident, which involved a Fiat campervan, happened at about 12:00 near Altnafeadh.
Police Scotland said the pedestrian had died at the scene. The occupants of the campervan were uninjured.
The road was closed for several hours to allow an investigation to take place with a diversion in place via the A85 and A828.
The man's next-of-kin have been informed.
Sgt Gregor Hay said: "Our thoughts at this time are with everyone affected by this tragic incident.
"Our inquiries are ongoing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us as soon as possible."
