Flooding has caused damage close to a railway line in the Highlands.

The line between Forsinard and Altnabreac in Caithness was closed on Monday, disrupting services between Inverness and Wick.

ScotRail said the services were likely to continue to be affected until 15:00 on Wednesday.

Landslides that occurred during a prolong period of heavy rain disrupted train services in the Highlands last week.
