Diamond Jubilee: Whisky priced 拢100,000 to honour Queen
A whisky costing 拢100,000 a bottle has been released to mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne.
Only 60 bottles of Diamond Jubilee will be released by John Walker and Sons.
It was bottled at Royal Lochnagar Distillery, which is owned by Diageo, on the edge of the Queen's Balmoral Estate.
Each bottle comes in a hand-crafted decanter finished in casks made of oak from Sandringham.
Sales are being donated to the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust.
The Queen's 60 years as monarch are set to be marked by a series of regional, national and international events during 2012, culminating in a four-day long UK Bank Holiday weekend in June.
Events planned to take place during the summer include the Queen leading a flotilla of a thousand boats along the Thames.
A chain of beacons will also be lit up across the country.
