Aberdeen tree planting project means roe deer cull
A tree planting project - which will also involving the controversial culling of deer - has started in Aberdeen.
Several animals face being killed at Tullos Hill, as the local authority tries to protect about 80,000 new trees being planted.
Aberdeen City Council's director of housing and environment Pete Leonard said it was vital to preserve the area.
Campaigners had said the planting should be postponed rather than a cull.
