Flybe to create up to 100 Aberdeen jobs as base reopens

Flybe closed its Aberdeen base earlier this year
Up to 100 jobs are to be created after airline Flybe announced it is to re-open a base in Aberdeen.
Flybe closed its operation in the city earlier this year. The firm said it will now re-open the base on 29 March next year.
The jobs include flight crew, engineers and ground handling staff.
Paul Simmons, Flybe's chief commercial officer, said: "It is a testament to a year of recovery, turnaround and the ultimate re-birth of our airline."
Carol Benzie, managing director of Aberdeen International Airport, said: "We are delighted with the news."
Four 78-seat Bombardier Q400 aircraft will be based at the airport.
New daily Flybe services connecting Aberdeen, Inverness and Edinburgh with London City Airport were announced last month.
