Stephen Flynn named new Aberdeen SNP group leader
The new SNP opposition group leader on Aberdeen City Council has been named.
Councillor Stephen Flynn - who represents Kincorth, Nigg and Cove - replaces Jackie Dunbar, who announced earlier this month she was stepping down.
He was elected in July last year, to replace Callum McCaig who became the SNP MP for Aberdeen South.
Mr Flynn told 大象传媒 Scotland: "I see it as a positive. I come into it with a new perspective."
The council has a Labour-led administration.
