Blue shark found dead on Roseisle beach beach
A blue shark is being examined by experts after it was found dead on a Moray beach.
The young female blue shark was discovered at Roseisle beach.
The Scottish Marine Animal Strandings Scheme said it was an unusual species for it to carry out a necropsy on.
SMASS said: "Being able to examine them gives us an opportunity to learn more about this species. Please do let us know if you find any others on your travels around Scotland's beaches."
