A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother-of-two in Elgin.

Kiesha Donaghy, 32, was found dead at a property in the Moray town's Anderson Drive on Thursday 16 November.

Owen Grant, 41, appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court charged with murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Police Scotland previously said that Ms Donaghy's family and friends were devastated by her death.
