Four in court after Dumfries heroin seizure

Three men and a woman have appeared in court after heroin with a street value of about 拢50,000 and cash was seized near Dumfries.

Anthony Dawson, 41, Angus Douglas, 71, and Claire Cameron, 35, all from Dumfries, and Alexander McNeil, 43, from Paisley, appeared on petition.

They were all accused of offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

No pleas were made at Dumfries Sheriff Court. Mr Douglas was remanded in custody and the others allowed bail.
