Teenager seriously injured in Perth stabbing

Police have appealed for information after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in Perth at the weekend.
The teenager was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary for treatment to a serious but non-life-threatening injury.
The assault happened in the South Methven Street area near to Mill Street at about 21:55 on Saturday.
A 17-year-old male, who was also assaulted in the incident, was traced following the disturbance, but did not require medical treatment.
South Methven Street was closed between South Street and Mill Street following the incident, with witnesses reporting seven police vehicles at the scene.
