A "pop-up" boutique glamping hotel is set to allow people to stay at some of Wales' most breath-taking locations.

Less than 200 bookings will be available for the cabins - with their designs inspired by King Arthur and the country's industrial heritage.

Guests will be given unique Welsh experiences from sea fishing and beer tasting to meals by top Welsh chefs.

They will be available in 2017, during the Welsh Government's tourism campaign "the year of legends".

The project has been named Epic Retreats - with eight designs chosen for the glamping units which will be built and placed at three locations.

These are inspired by things such as King Arthur, miners and dragons, and use items such as sheep's wool for insulation and slate for the roofs.

Economy Secretary Ken Skates said he hoped the move would "attract visitors from far and wide to experience our amazing landscape and heritage".
