Met Office yellow warning of heavy rain near St Asaph
Heavy rain could lead to flooding and travel problems in parts of north east Wales, a warning issued by the Met Office said.
The yellow warning - advising people to be aware - covered areas in Denbighshire and Flintshire.
It was until 10:00 Tuesday.
Heavy showers were predicted to move in from the Irish Sea, with up to 40mm (1.6 inches) of rain forecast to fall in some areas.
It followed several days of bad weather where homes were left without power and fallen trees led to disruption on roads.
Parts of the National Eisteddfod site in Llanrwst, Conwy county, were also forced to close early with tractors brought in to tow campers out of mud.
