Queues ease after crash on M4 near Newport
The M4 has reopened around Newport following a crash between a lorry and a car during Friday rush hour.
The incident happened westbound just before 17:00 BST near junction 26 (Malpas), and traffic stretched back to the Prince of Wales Bridge.
The road was closed between junctions 24 (Coldra) and 27 (High Cross) for nearly three hours and traffic was diverted on to the A48.
Roads around Newport were said to be "struggling" until about 21:00.
