Llyn Peninsula: Paddle boarders rescued from island

The three women in their 20s became stranded on the small island of Maen Mellt
Three women have been rescued after being stranded on Maen Mellt island off the Llyn Peninsula.
Holyhead Coastguard received a 999 call just after 16:00 GMT after the three women on paddle boards became stranded.
Crews from Porthdinllaen All-Weather Lifeboat team responded with help from both Porthdinllaen and Aberdaron Coastguard Teams.
There were no injuries but the three women were cold, added a coastguard spokesman.
