Ely woman charged with wounding over Cardiff stabbing

A woman has been charged following an alleged stabbing that led to a man needing hospital treatment.

Police were called to Plymouth Wood Road, Ely, Cardiff, at about 05:00 GMT on Sunday morning.

A woman, 29, from Ely, has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She appeared before magistrates in Cardiff and is next due to attend a hearing at the city's crown court in April.
