Ganllwyd: Police search river for missing person

Police and rescue teams are searching a river following reports of a person entering the water.

North Wales Police began searching in the river Mawddach in Ganllwyd, Gwynedd, at around 16:15 GMT on Friday.

The force said it is conducting the search alongside mountain rescue teams, the fire service and the Welsh Ambulance Service.

Police have said local searches have now concluded, while further specialist searches will continue.
