Caerphilly: Van driver admits causing deaths of two pedestrians
A van driver has admitted causing the deaths of two pedestrians.
A woman, 67, and a man, 58, died following the collision on Nantgarw Road, Caerphilly, in March.
At Cardiff Crown Court on Monday, Michael Saltmarsh pleaded guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road traffic collision and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He will be sentenced on 22 May.
