Nelson: Man, 50, dies in hospital after motorbike crash

A 50-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital following a crash, Gwent Police has said.

It happened on the A472 between Nelson and Tredomen, in Caerphilly county, at about 16:00 BST on Saturday.

Officers along with personnel from the Welsh Ambulance Service were in attendance.

The man's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The force is appealing for information.
