A470 crash: Biker Shaun Dufty family 'shattered' by death
The family of a motorcyclist killed in a crash have said his death has left them with a "huge hole in our hearts".
Shaun Dufty, of Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire, died at the scene after a crash on the A470 between Rhayader and Llangurig, in Powys, at about 08:55 BST on Sunday, 8 October.
His family said he was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle with many friends.
A member of two motorcycle clubs, he enjoyed riding with other members.
His hobby was restoring 1980s bikes.
His family said: "He enjoyed his foreign holidays, snorkelling, loved his food and had an amazing zest for life.
"Shaun was a genuine, loving trustworthy man. Our world has been shattered by his loss and we have been left with a huge hole in our hearts."
Police said the family were being supported and that they were investigating the crash.
