An investigation has been launched into the death of a 21-year-old woman in Cardiff.

South Wales Police said the woman was taken ill at an event in the Butetown area of the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers said her death was "sudden and unexplained".

The force said it had no further details to provide at this stage.
