Leigh Brookfield banned from club for urinating on cancer patient
A wedding DJ who filmed himself urinating on a cancer patient in a club toilet and posted the video online has been banned from the venue for life.
Leigh Brookfield, 40, admitted common assault on Friday following the Boxing Day incident at Llanelli Tennis and Squash Club.
The club banned Brookfield, of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, for life "for his vile actions".
He will be sentenced at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on 19 January.
In the footage, which was shown in court on Friday, Brookfield is seen standing next Peter Barton at the urinals of the club.
Mr Barton tells him about his serious health issues, prompting Brookfield to say "sorry to hear that bud" as he urinates on him.
His victim was unaware of what was happening at the time.
Llanelli Tennis and Squash Club said its representatives visited Mr Barton following the incident and he was "understandably upset".
"We are a family friendly club and are devastated that our name has been bought into this despicable act by a person who has no association with the club and through no fault of our own," it added.
