North Wales Police officer denies assault during arrest
A police officer accused of assault during an arrest has denied two charges.
At Llandudno Magistrates Court, Richard Williams, 42, pleaded not guilty to intentional strangulation and assault causing actual bodily harm .
Both charges relate to the arrest of Steven Clarke carried out at Porthmadog, Gwynedd, on 10 May, 2023.
He will appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on 12 February.
PC Williams has been suspended by North Wales Police.
