A woman has been arrested after another woman was found dead at a property.
Police were called to Mynydd Glas in Caerau, near Maesteg, Bridgend county, at about 07:10 GMT.
South Wales Police said a 25-year-old woman, who was known to the victim, is in custody as inquiries continue but did not give a reason for her arrest.
The cause of the 44-year-old woman's death has not yet been established. Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
