A woman killed in a four-vehicle crash was a "social butterfly" who loved riding and swimming, her family said.
Victoria Jones, 53, of Mount Pleasant, Merthyr Tydfil county, died following the collision near junctions 42 and 43, near Briton Ferry, on the M4.
Her family said in a tribute: "Victoria was a social butterfly, always smiling and happy as she loved so much to go out in company with friends and family.
"She would be especially so happy when out horse riding and swimming."
They added: "Victoria will be sorely missed by all her family and friends."
South Wales Police said the crash, between a silver Suzuki S-Cross, a white Vauxhall Vivaro van, a white Vauxhall Combo van and a white Toyota Proace van, happened at 15:10 GMT on Friday, 26 January.
The force is appealing for witnesses.
