Cathays: Man charged after woman seriously injured in crash
A man has been charged with a number of driving offences after a woman was hit by a car in Cardiff.
The 60-year-old woman remains in hospital with serious injuries following the crash in Minny Street, Cathays, at about 01:00 GMT on Sunday.
A 32-year-old man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The man has been charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance, aggravated vehicle taking, driving whilst unfit through drink, failing to stop after an accident, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to report a road accident.
