Swansea: Woman dies in motorcycle crash with car

A woman has died after the motorcycle she was riding crashed with a car.

The collision, involving a Yamaha motorcycle and a Ford Fiesta, happened on Mynydd Newydd Road, Swansea, at about 20:50 BST on Monday.

The 46-year-old woman, from Portmead, Swansea, received medical treatment but died at the scene.

South Wales Police has made an appeal for anyone with information on the crash or footage of the incident to contact the force.
