Mobile cameras catch 65,000 speeding drivers in four years
More than 65,000 motorists were caught speeding in four years in mid Wales.
Figures from Dyfed-Powys Police show that 65,543 drivers were caught speeding by mobile cameras between April 2010 and March 2014.
The A483 at Llanwrtyd Wells was the worst road for the offence, with 890 motorists caught driving too fast.
A GoSafe spokeswoman said: "There is a simple message - cameras are in place to save lives."
Over the four-year period, the highest number of drivers - 18,958 - were caught between April 2010 and March 2011.
In 2013/14, 17,246 drivers were caught.
