Penyffordd homes plan on Hawarden Road rejected
Plans to build 32 homes in a Flintshire village have been rejected by councillors amid concern by residents about over development.
More than 160 letters of objection and four in favour of the proposals at Hawarden Road, Penyffordd, had been submitted to Flintshire council.
A said there were concerns locally about several issues, including pressure on local schools.
Councillors rejected the plans at a meeting on Wednesday.
