Snowdon rescue: Ill man airlifted from Watkin Path
A 46 year old man with a heart condition has been rescued from Snowdon after he became tired and hypothermic while walking.
Properly equipped, he was descending with his son, aged 15, on the Watkin Path when he became ill on Thursday at about 16:00 BST.
A Sea King rescue helicopter from RAF Valley, Anglesey, landed on Snowdon and members of Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team carried him to the aircraft.
He was flown to hospital in Bangor.
