Woman seriously ill after Cardiff car crash
A woman is seriously ill in hospital after two cars collided in Cardiff.
Police had to close Allensbank Road in the Heath area of the city for four hours following the incident at 19:35 GMT on Monday.
The drivers of a silver Mercedes and a silver Polo and a passenger were taken to the nearby University Hospital of Wales.
The Mercedes driver is helping police with their inquiries. Officers have asked witnesses to contact them.
The Mercedes was heading towards the Highfields Road junction when it happened.
