A Cardiff-based music festival has been named best small festival by judges at the NME Awards.
Swn, which is held at clubs and venues in the city, was among three Welsh festivals - including 2013 winner Festival Number 6 in Portmeirion, Gwynedd - in the shortlist.
The festival was launched in 2007 by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens and live music promoter John Rostron.
It promotes and celebrates new music coming in and out of Wales.
Last year's four-day event held in October saw 200 artists perform at various venues.
Swn, which is Welsh for sound or noise, was also up against Brecon-based Green Man, RockNess in Scotland, Y Not in Derbyshire and Lake District-based Kendal Calling.
It is the festival's first award.
"Delighted to have won the @NME Award for Best Small Festival! Diolch Pawb! Thanks all!" the festival organisers tweeted.
