Caerphilly council leader Harry Andrews stands down

Caerphilly council leader Harry Andrews has announced he is to give up the role to spend more time with his family.
The Labour leader said he would formally stand down at the authority's annual general meeting on 8 May.
He said he wanted to pursue personal interests, but would remain the ward member for Gilfach.
Mr Andrews survived a no confidence vote last year after a row over a £25,400 pay rise for its top official.
He said: "I'm honoured to have led our council for the last two years, and in our last Labour-led administration of 2004-2008.
"I wish my successor as leader well, and they can count on my full support in future."
Mr Andrews has been a councillor since 1967 when he was elected as the member for Gilfach and Bargoed for the then Gelligaer Urban District Council.
The former engineer and magistrate has been a member of the authority since it was formed in 1996.
