Two women hurt in stolen car incident in Penarth
Two women have been injured in separate incidents after a man attacked one and stole her car before crashing it into another vehicle in the Vale of Glamorgan, injuring the driver.
The second woman was hurt when her car was involved in a collision with the stolen BMW at Windsor Road, Penarth.
The incident began at Windsor Terrace at 18:30 BST on Saturday.
The man crashed the stolen car into the second woman's grey Ford Focus a short time later.
South Wales Police said he fled the scene in a Volkswagen Polo or Golf car and are appealing for witnesses.
Det Insp Michelle Conquer said: "This was an extremely frightening incident and has left the two female victims feeling shocked and with injuries requiring medical attention."
