Hirwaun area reopened after suspicious packages removed
A cordon has been lifted after police were called to remove three suspicious packages from Rhondda Cynon Taff.
Penderyn Road in Hirwaun was shut for several hours on Tuesday and an area including the police station was taped off.
The road was reopened in the afternoon, while the police cordon was lifted shortly before 17:00 GMT.
South Wales Police said specialists were called in to deal with the incident.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the area at about 06:15 GMT.
