Man's arson arrest at scene of New Tredegar property fire
A man has been arrested after refusing police entry into a property following reports of a small fire.
Gwent Police said its officers forced entry into a property on Long Row in New Tredegar, Caerphilly county, at about 07:30 GMT on Thursday.
The 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent and being reckless as to whether life was endangered.
The Welsh Ambulance Service assessed a man at the scene but no-one was hurt.
