The wildfire broke out at about 06:00 local time, with 15 fire appliances from 12 brigade areas tackling it at its height.

He said the fire has been beaten back in a number of areas.
However, there are still "hot spots" and some firefighters remain at the scene.
Earlier, Irish broadcaster RTÉ reported that the fire was spreading rapidly between Loughanure and the village of Annagry and was approaching woodland and houses.
The N56 road between Gweedore and Dungloe is closed.
