Cork: Gardaà arrest man over threats to kill UK MP

Gardaà (Irish police) have arrested a man on suspicion of making threats to kill an MP in the UK, ´óÏó´«Ã½ News NI understands.
The 41-year-old, who is believed to be from England, was detained in Douglas, a suburb of Cork city.
Gardaà confirmed that he was arrested after a search of a home and that a number of electronic items were seized.
He is being questioned on suspicion of threatening a "person from outside of this jurisdiction", said gardaÃ.
that the alleged threats related to a female Labour politician.
The arrest comes two weeks after the fatal stabbing of Conservative MP Sir David Amess as he held a constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex.
Ali Harbi Ali, 25, has been remanded in custody charged with murdering Sir David on 15 October.
