Guernsey FC 'may look at new stadium', says chairman
Guernsey FC could look to move into a stadium of its own in the future, said the club's chairman.
Steve Dewsnip said that if the side continues to climb the English non-league pyramid, a purpose-built stadium may be considered.
He said: "We want to... provide the greatest footballing opportunities for our better players."
Guernsey FC currently share the ground, which also doubles as an athletics track, with the Guernsey rugby team.
The club won promotion to the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League in its inaugural season.
More than 400 season tickets for the 2012-13 season have already been sold, despite a price increase for seats in the Garenne Stand at Footes Lane.
