Week-long closure along west coast route for drainage works
A route along the western coast of the Isle of Man has been shut off to traffic for a week for drainage works, the infrastructure department has said.
The A27 Dalby Road has been closed from the Eairy Cushlin Road junction to the entrance of Niarbyl Road until 24 November for the project.
Wall maintenance, ditch clearing, pothole repair and the installation of new kerbs have also been planned.
Signs have been put in place to divert motorists around the closure.
A spokesman for the department said there was no access through the closure, which would be in place 24 hours a day.
But staff would work with landowners who needed to access their land, he said.
