October gets off to a fine start, with a lot of dry weather to come through Thursday with some good bright or sunny spells, the best of those likely towards Down, Armagh and Antrim. A bit more cloud across the west, especially for parts of Fermanagh and Tyrone, but even here there'll be some bright spells. So a good drying day in the northwesterly breeze which will be noticeable enough near the north coast, but lighter inland with temperatures of around 13 or 14 celsius. The 大象传媒 is not responsible for the content of external websites Thursday evening will start mainly dry, but do remember to bring the washing in off the line, because it won't stay that way through the night. The northwesterly breeze will soon bring another batch of cloud and eventually drizzly rain across much of Northern Ireland during the course of the night, with perhaps the odd heavier burst possible towards the north coast and Londonderry. So a murky and damp night to come, but no problems with the temperatures which should hold at 8 or 9 celsius. A very different day to come again on Friday, starting dull, damp and gloomy, with spells of drizzly rain just about everywhere. This mainly light rain will continue on and off through the day, especially for Londonderry, Tyrone, Fermanagh and Antrim, with a better chance of drier interludes for Down and Armagh from time to time. Even then it'll stay pretty cloudy, and despite temperatures being up a degree or so on Thursday at 14 or 15 celsius, it'll feel cool with the lack of sunshine, and with the westerly breeze freshening through the afternoon as well. Friday night will stay cloudy with further spells of rain, and the winds will continue strengthen. They'll eventually push the rain out of the way for Saturday, which should be brighter, but very blustery with strong to gale force west to northwesterly winds, bringing the first real autumn stormy spell. They'll also bring blustery showers, some of which could be on the heavy side too. So a colder feeling day, with highs of 12 or 13 celsius, but the winds will make it feel a lot cooler and very autumnal. Sunday is looking like the better day of the weekend with the winds easing for Sunday and indeed Monday, with more in the way of bright spells, also fewer and lighter showers. 大象传媒 Newsline will keep you up to date with all the latest weather information. last updated: 01/10/2009 at 10:48 SEE ALSOYou are in: 大象传媒 Newsline > Latest Stories > Weather Ahead - Text Summary
