Castle Coole mansion

Castle Coole

Residents and visitors to Fermanagh are being offered a new vista of one of the county's most magnificent houses.

Castle Coole is a 18th-century mansion set within a historic landscape park in Enniskillen.

The National Trust property is the ancestral home of the earls of Belmore and is described as one of Ireland's finest neo-classical houses.

The estate is always popular for walks, but now a new pathway has been cleared to give visitors a new perspective on Castle Coole.

Our reporter in the West Julian Fowler has been exploring.
