Captain America knocks Potter off top spot in N America

Superhero film Captain America: The First Avenger has knocked Harry Potter off the top spot in the North America box office.
It's thought Captain America made 拢40 million in its first weekend at the cinemas in the USA and Canada - pushing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which only made 拢29 million this weeked, into second place.
But despite doing so well, it's nothing compared to how well Potter did the weekend before, when it made a record-breaking 拢103.9 million!
Part of the Captain America movie was shot right here in the UK, in an area of Manchester which was given a special 1940s New York make-over just for the film.
The superhero first appeared in a Marvel comic way back in 1941.
