Engineers have invented a robotic jellyfish, powered by hydrogen.

The robot - nicknamed Robojelly - moves in water by copying the natural swimming motion of a jellyfish.

Researchers from America at Virginia Tech say development of the robot is currently in the early stages.

But they hope it could eventually prove useful in underwater search operations.
