Ade Adepitan tells his Paralympic story
Training to be a Paralympian takes years of dedication and hard work but ever wondered how these top athletes started out?
Ade Adepitan used to play wheelchair basketball for Great Britain- he grabbed bronze in the 2004 Athens Games.
His Paralympic journey hasn't been easy. He says he's had to change his own ideas about being disabled to make it to the top of his sport.
If you're planning to watch the Paralympics you'll be hearing a lot more from Ade. This year he'll be one of the many voices behind the games coverage on Channel 4.
Watch Ade's report to find out more about how he reached his goal of playing at the Paralympics.
