Astronomers have created a huge image of the Milky Way
Astronomers have taken the largest ever picture of our galaxy, the Milky Way.
The middle of the picture shows the cluster of 84 million stars which are in the central 'bulge' of the galaxy.
Astronomers used a super high-tech telescope in Chile to get the image, and it contains ten times more stars than any survey taken before.
They hope the picture will help them to better understand how the universe was made.
The picture is so large that if it was printed in an ordinary book it would be 9 metres wide and 7 metres high.
