Princess Charlotte's christening date announced

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have announced when they will be holding a christening for Princess Charlotte.

The christening will take place on the 5th of July at St Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen's Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will lead the service.

The little princess was born on 2nd May at St Mary's Hospital in London.

Her full official name is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge.

Charlotte's big brother Prince George had his christening at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace in London in October 2013.
