Scientists discover new particle
Scientists at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland have announced the discovery of a new particle called the pentaquark.
It was first predicted to exist in the 1960s but scientists couldn't prove it until now.
The discovery was made by the Hadron Collider's LHCb experiment.
The most recent findings will now be looked at further but those involved say there is no way it could be anything other than a new particle.
